DIY Homemade Granola Bars

These were surprisingly easy, and delicious!
What you will need:
  • 4 to 5 Cups rolled oats
  • 2 Handful of chopped almonds
  • 1 Handful sunflower seeds
  • 1 Handful of chopped walnuts
  • 2 Handfuls of chopped cashews
  • 1 Handful dried blueberries
  • 1 Handful dried cranberries
  • 1 Handful of halved dried apricots
  • 1 Cup peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 Cup honey
  • 1/2 Cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon oil
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees, cover the baking sheep with your oats, then all your nuts(you can adjust the handfuls of nuts and dried fruit, I just did it this way to give it variety)put it all in the oven for 15 minutes. While your oats and nuts are baking put the peanut butter, honey, brown sugar, and oil in a pot and bring to a boil. Make sure you stir it constantly so it does not burn to the bottom of the pot. When your oats are done pull themout and add them to a deep baking dish, pour your honey/peanut butter mixture on top, and stir it all together. make sure you get everything covered. You do not want anything to be dry or your bars will not stay together. If you see there are still some dry spots, just add more honey. Pack it down with a spatula, and bake for another 15 minutes. Let them cool, and then cut them and put in plastic wrap, or sandwich baggies for easy lunch packing!!!
