Family Hand Print Turkey

I made him the night before thanksgiving, he only got one coat of brown paint, I suggest at least 2!
This is such a cute idea for Thanksgiving day gifts, or just for a cute decoration in your own home.
You will need:
  • Large styraphome ball
  • Popsicle sticks
  • Foam sheets (I bought 5 different colors for our family of 5 and also brown for the turkeys neck)
  • Googly eyes
  • Hot glue gun
  • Brown paint
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Paint brush or paint sponge
  • Dowels
First you paint the styraphome ball, and the Popsicle sticks brown, the styraphome ball will absorb your paint, so you will have to do a couple coats. While those were drying i traced all of our hands, and cut the out. I placed the smallest to biggest and glued them together, then glued them on our dried turkey. You need to draw a long turkey neck,  place another piece of foam under your turkey neck that you just drew and cut them out. you will want to double up the foam so you can put a dowel in between them glue it, and stick the dowel into the ball. While you are gluing the dowel in the turkey neck, ad the beak and the wattle. Add your googly eyes. Then you will have to push your small Popsicle stick into the bottom for his feet, and also it prevents him from rolling all over the place.
