Oil, Water, and Food Coloring Exeriement

I figured that its cool enough for kids to see how water and oil react together, why not add some food coloring to the mix, this is what we found....

Some things you will need.....

They wants to color the water first, they added oil, it wasn't that great...

Just playing around

Then we added the food coloring to the oil first, this got a bit more fun....

The oil held the food coloring in its bubbles in the water

When you stir, it breaks them up a bit, and colors the water too...

Pretty cool!!!
